Is the School Construction Authority playing with fire?

From the Daily News:

Fire prevention sprinkler systems in several New York City public schools are a disaster waiting to happen, a plumbing inspector for the School Construction Authority charges.

Roy Van Allen told the Daily News he has warned supervisors about sprinkler systems and fire standpipes that are inadequate or may not work at all.

Van Allen contends he found serious problems at a half-dozen schools - including improperly installed pipes, a disconnected standpipe and a substandard fire suppression system.

Mark my words...As long as Turdberg needs the money for development projects like Willets Point, the schools will remain in poor condition!

There are too many "authorities" operating in NYC whose books are opaque.

The School Construction Authority
is one of the worst!

Do you know that an "authority" is immune from lawsuit?

In other words a monarchistic
bubble is allowed to exist within the midst of a democracy!

OPEN UP THOSE BOOKS NOW.

You too..MTA!

We read stories like this and we are supposed to believe they will properly remediate a polluted industrial site before bringing in the children.

if roy van allen feels there is a problem then everything must be fine.NOTORIOUS IN THE INDUSTRY for failing everything he looks at no matter how perfect the installation ,only to prolong the whole project and protect his worthless existence. the biggest waste of money in nyc without question is the SCA. The trades call SCA jobs " the bizarro world"
