Election year cover up?

From True News from ChangeNYC.org:

Are the City's elected officials hiding the real picture of the cutbacks to get past the 2009 election? Are Albany's dysfunctional leaders who say they are coming back in June to cut more out of control? Will increase in taxes, pension costs, MTA cutback and the lack of a real business plan for New York cause more companies to leave making the city's economy worse? Nobody's saying.

If they are covering up our problems, they are doing a d*mn bad job. I think a little covering up might do us good since we are half suicidal due to the fiscal collapse.

What kind of genius does it take to realize that the so-called FIRE industries were the main driver of growth and revenue in New York for the past 20 years.

That was the devil's bargain we choose when we agreed to become a net importer and let our industrial base go to rack and ruin.

Since my childhood we have lost among others: the printing industry, most of the garment industry, light manufacturing, brewing, maritime industry...

This man is campaigning on being a good business manager.

The only person that has got a lot of money in the past year is him.

Meanwhile, the city has fallen into a toilet because of his poor managememt.
