Bloomberg trying to be like Obama

From the NY Post:

Bloomberg has become such a fervent champion of Obama in recent weeks that it sometimes seems that he -- not Thompson -- is the Democrat in the race.

The mayor's campaign last week unleashed robo-calls to remind voters that Bloomberg and Obama are on the same page when it comes to health-care reform.

When a reporter pointed out that the president has yet to produce a specific health-care plan, Bloomberg sprang to his defense.

"Well, the president's been in office 10 weeks. He can't do everything," the mayor said. "Let's give him a little bit of slack."

Insiders say the mayor's strategy is to Velcro himself to a popular president and to blunt a possible appearance by Obama on behalf of the comptroller, which would certainly boost Thompson's chances of becoming the city's second black mayor.

This has Republicans wondering why they should allow him to run on their line in November. How much shit are you willing to swallow?

P.S. The Staten Island GOP was the 2nd to fold. One more to go...

The one more will be Queens. Forget all their lying denials. Republicans don't have enough pride of party to back an actual Republican who can win. They are now genetically incapable of standing for anything except scraps tossed by the winner Democrats. Even Guiliani would rather be a Democrat!

How much shit are Republicans willing to swallow? They're out to break world records!

The Commissar never was a Republican.

Notice in the photo of the pair in the restaurant, the arrogant Obama is giving the finger to the equally arrogant Commissar Turtle Face. Two empty heads sitting for a photo. What a pair!

I see the photo differently.
How could Obama have stooped so low as to be seen with him?

If the Republicans give Bloomberg the ticket, no more cash from me, none, nada. But, I know Bloomberg will make up for and surpass those like me with his billions. Even though the principles I believe in are most represented by the Republican Party, they are not by this Republican Party and I admit I am ashamed of those who put a price tag on those principles.

Amazing "Taxpayer".

First some idiot at Fox News sees President and Mrs. Obama bumping fists and thinks that it's some kind of terrorist signal.

Then Bob Grant sees the President standing in front of the Ohio state flag, and thinks that the flag was altered to have an O for Obama, rather than Ohio.

Then Rush Limbaugh thinks that the Obamas are angry people.

Now you somehow perceive the President as being "arrogant" and he's giving the Mayor the finger.

Pure hatred and racism will always blind people to reality.

What a bunch of whining losers.

(personally, I think the President is struggling to stay awake).

What hatred?

What racism?

Even though you're looking very hard to find hatred and racism, exactly where did you find it?

Wait! I think I know! Any critical reference to these two is a result of hatred and racism.

Did I get the right answer? Did I? Did I? What's the prize?

More of your whining.

Yeah...I suppose that's why Bloomberg allowed the closing of several sorely needed hospitals...out of his concern for adequate health care!

Wow, A stunningly profound, deeply intellectual answer.

Universities will be studying and contemplating this exchange for centuries.

You should be proud. Your answer will be categorized with Aristotle, Plato, and perhaps Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Doctoral candidates will be writing theses about this until the end of time.

Imagine; it will be your words that end hatred and racism on earth.

I think Bloomberg knows he can't win a third term...too much bad political baggage in this economy...so he's covering his short ass by discussing an appointment to a government post in Washington.

But it's got to have some kind of "Czar" title attached to it.

It doesn't look like Obama's very happy with this con man.

He knows that if he supports Mike for mayor, Obama's second term is at risk.
