TAKE ME OUT TO THE SAD GAME
By JAMES FANELLI, NY Post
A Mets season-ticket holder is soliciting sob stories from fans who can't afford seats at the new Citi Field and is giving away ducats to those deemed most worthy.
Computer programmer Bill Soistmann is offering up his pair of $75 seats in Section 331 along the third base line on a Web site he set up earlier this month, www.getmetstickets.com.
"My motivation is to see the tickets in the hands of people who can't afford to go," Soistmann told The Post. "These games are going to be things that people are not able to do anymore."
One of the 50 hard-luck fans responding to the site wrote of facing foreclosure. He asked to give "my boy a small memory like my dad did for me."
