We all know this guy - or do we?

For his pulpit, Luis often chooses one of the pedestrian overpasses spanning the Long Island Expressway and the Grand Central Parkway, in Queens. Luis says he puts himself where many people will see him each morning. He is proud to be seen by the rich and poor and immigrants from all over the world.

“I love all the people of this city,” he said. “I want to say this, that God loves New York.”

This is awesome!

Before the wife and I moved our family to long island, our AM commutes on the LIE always consisted of the two of us keeping a watch for "Flag Guy" (as we called him). We often wondered -- no doubt like everyone else -- who he was, why he was up on the walkways almost every morning.

People would roll down their windows and wave to him and he'd nod his head of wave his flags even more vigorously.

It's nice to see he's still doing his thing!
