If Gallagher is such a POS as many of the trolls on this board claim, then why did the JPCA executive board vote him as their Man of the Year, and also laud Gallagher from the front cover of their magazine?

Gallagher became politically paranoid soon after being re-elected in 2005. He commissioned a private poll to gauge the popularity of neighborhood leaders to see if he would have potential competition when he ran for his next office. The poll found that 2 leaders of JPCA, Tony Nunziato and Robert Holden, were as popular, if not more popular than Dennis the Menace. So he threw Nunziato off the community board and helped arrange a coup at Maspeth Town Hall to oust him from the presidency. He couldn't get Holden kicked off the community board, so he arranged a vote to have him taken off its executive board. He also called in bogus DOB complaints and sent out libelous anonymous fliers and created an attack blog. Then he declared war on the very group that had just awarded him Man of the Year months before and who he had awarded several times himself. These were the workings of the lunatic mind that belongs to Dennis P. Gallagher. Thank you, Crappy, for posting all of his letters and underhanded tricks so that the world can see what alcohol combined with a shitty home life can do to a man's thought process.

If any of you idiots who criticize Launinger did some research you'd actually find that he did several articles where he interviewed Gallagher's victim and gave her a strong voice.
He's also did great work covering a lot of the behind the scenes work of the trial including the an article that showed the victim knew nothing about the deal till after it was approved.
Don't rap what and who you don't know about, morons.
