Koslowitz is Running

Current Deputy Queens Borough President and former councilwoman Karen Koslowitz is running to get her old job back. Ain't term limits grand? Recycling isn't just for paper and plastic anymore...

The thought of Karen just makes us want to place an order at McDonalds for some reason.

And does this woman have any new ideas, or will she show up a senior centers and immigrant centers and get plenty of gentle favorable press and ride in under name recognition alone?

Give up Karen. You weren't that great the last round.

Great for the machine, so what is your issue?

I met her once. On her desk, she didn't have an ashtray, or a dish, or a platter - she had - I kid you not - a large salad bowl filled with cigarette butts.

Also running Michael Cohen. More recycling.

If you don't like the candidates, write-in Mickey Mouse as a candidate.

michael cohen is not recycled. He stepped down to take care of family commitments. He was not term limited.

Cohen endorsed Patacki remember? Don't think County was thrilled, know the voters weren't.

Recycle - something reused.

You think the district was better served with someone like Cohen who doesn't just vote and endorse whoever the machine tells him too. I don't think Forest Hills voters preferred McCall over Pataki anyway.

Californians and other states knew exactly what Pataki was made of and lots of Forest Hills also knew but not everyone in NY. Too many heads in the sand.

After the endorsement Forest Hills Democrats suddenly voted for a unknown Republican to make a point.

Karen's a sure winner here...a much better choice than Heidi "chain letter" Chain, who claims to work so closely with the 112th precinct, but can't even get the police union to endorse her!
