Car wash crap

Our featured piece of crap sits on what was previously vacant land.
This scene is in Brooklyn at 2397-2399 Boynton Place, at Avenue X. Now there are 6 units of crap (on paper) here - next to a car wash. Now that's living!! Would love to know where the supposed accessory off-street parking for 6 cars is. Each building has a "rec room" and 4 doors. Wonder why?

Can't you just see this in amout 40 years with every door a different color, grafitti and grime, rusted hanging junkyards.

Home of the tweeded, abode of the shadows.

Lawn turned into building, over and over and over again.

Just because you use taxpayers money to plant trees to make developer projects more sellable does not offset the vanishing green in Queens.

Making NY a Greencity is a marketing gimmick to have developers subsidized by taxpayers as long as this happens.

I'm a little slow. What's all that for?

Its funny that you post this.I drive bye this condo all the time. It funny how you pass judgement but I would rather live next to a car wash then go half way up the block and live in a condo across the street from a dirty infested live chicken market. Check that one out.

the "rec room" is for fitting more people into the apartment. The extra doors are so they could potentially (and probably illegally) sub-divide the apartments further.

oh, wow. thanks for the info.

doesn't it seem like things are getting worse and worse?

This property is in Brooklyn, not Queens... I checked them out... There's no more room for development. That fourth door is to the boiler room. And I don't know where they're going to fit 6 cars in the tiny parking area in the back...

You are all a bunch of stupid people. It has 4 doors because it is a Condo Building and not because it is to illegally make more units.

"Green" in 1 of the 5 boroughs? Get over it! This is NYC and it hasnt been green for hundreds of years. If you want green move out to the island.

I know something else that will piss all of you off. This condo most likely has a 15 year tax abatment that NYC gives to such buildings and the owner most likley pays $35 in real estate tax a year.

Actually, they have no owners yet, mainly because no one in their right mind would buy a condo in a hideous building in a shitty section of Brooklyn down the street from a live poultry mart and next to a car wash.
