Brooklyn crap being well documented

That red brick Fedders building with the fake pediments, bigass porches and metal stairs bears a striking resemblance to a chain of McCondos popping up all over Greenpoint: The Belvederes. I have taken to mapping them.

Meet the Belvederes

I'm sorry. Those squat tacky-sided buildings sandwiching that brick creature are even uglier.

We need to get together from around the city an pool our resoures and start a political movement to take back our city from the developers, and to force our public 'servants' to take care of the public's needs.

Yea hearin' this Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan?

Crap? In Queens, they dreeeem of new construction that's this attractive. Seriously, if population density is going to increase (and I don't think that can be prevented), then this is a pretty good choice. I'd rather have two Belvederes next door than a Tommy Huang pile of dung.

Zero population growth.

This building actually isnt that bad. I agree that this is much better than the Huang piles going up. At least they put some effort by putting ornamentation around the windows and doors. Buildings going up in Flushing and those parts are MUCH uglier.

Jake LaCrapa should move into the basement of this building.

That was my thought, too. These actually don't scream "cheap."
