Unfortunately, NYC has no such program. Here we promote destruction of neighborhood landmarks and replacing them with Fedders/Friedrich crap.

A developer's dollar will buy a politician any day! We also keep electing borough presidents who do nothing to promote preservation in Queens and do everything possible to foster its destruction! "Bulldozer" Donald Manes was the poster child for selling out his borough to builders. But don't be fooled by that wide grinning fool Hellen Marshal. She's no saint ! She's just another "yes sir" that's following in Manes' footsteps!
