They could raise a ton of money my enforcing laws and sending a swarm of building inspectors out to drain the swamp of illegal conversions with absentee landlords.
They could raise a ton of money going after contractors thumbing their nose at regulations.
Instead, they raise the taxes on hard working families squeezing people like single moms who are raising their kids and the middle class breadwinner trying to make ends meet.
It makes no sense to me.
