Going, going...

Lets see.

Old building: porch, style, yard, trees, small scale.

New building: ugly, hanging junkyards, concrete for grafitti coverd van parked in the front, a warehouse for people.

A problem? No, the people in the community 'don't know any better' and even if they did, who is going to listen to them?

I'm sure John Liu will listen, won't you Johnny? He cares enough about history and architecture to put his name underneath an old sign post and to...um ... Is that all he's done to preserve Flushing?
