Graffiti complaints are up

From WPIX:

According to the New York Post, New Yorkers filed 211 more graffiti complaints this year compared to last year.

That’s about a 5 percent spike.

An NYPD spokesman says taggers compete to have their graffiti seen.

The spokesman said the best way to curb the rise in graffiti is to paint over the tags.

I wish someone would graffiti all the white plastic 6' fences at the property line in Flooshing!

They're cheap and disgusting. Most owners don't even wash them so they're are covered with green fungus!

Have you seen Whitestone? I can't remember the last time I saw so much graffiti.

Too bad grafitti will always be around as long as there are kids present.

Send the kids -- when caught -- if caught to Boot Camp. Perhaps, they will kick the habit after some booting.
