Dumping at a bus stop

"This sickening site is what queens residents had to endure over the weekend 5/3&4/2014. A filthy bedspread, boxes, dirty diapers and other household garbage at our BUS STOP.

Unfortunately, we live among uncivilized people who really should have stayed in their caves. They disguise themselves as normal human beings and we suffer as a result.

This location is Merrick Boulevard & 108th Avenue. The garbage bin is for litter, NOT for household garbage, but the area is used as a permanent garbage dumping ground.

For years residents have been complaining and asking local leaders to enforce the law. ($100 fine for household usage) A sign is placed on every garbage bin. So far, no law enforcement.

The borough president's office said that sanitation needs identification to enforce the law. But sanitation does not bother to look for I.D. So, in an effort to assist, I took the address and photos of the discarded boxes. The garbage belongs to 104-19 Merrick Boulevard.

As Councilman, Leroy Comrie, vowed to clean-up this area, according to the Queens Chronicle. Now as Deputy BP, he has totally forgotten his vow. His personal agenda, is running for another office.

Ruben Wills, Councilman said that he will introduce a bill to put violators in jail. But he was led away in handcuffs today (5/7/14) for misuse of public funds. He might be headed to jail instead.

Ms. Boranian, you are the constituents personnel in the B/P office. Can you please ask sanitation to enforce the law? I will call your office in a few days for a follow-up." - Pamela Hazel

Hey crappy check out the mayor's budget

http://www.nyc.gov/html/omb/downloads/pdf/mm5_14.pdf

Page 42.

City is expecting revenue from DOB fines to drop from 36 million to 22 million. What sort of crap are developers and scumbag landlords going to get away with under DB?

the politicians in Queens treat us like children, or should I say mushrooms, they keep us in the dark, feed us shit, and cut our heads off if we dare stick it about the shit.

since they control the process to ensure that no one normal gets anywhere, we must content ourselves with poking fun at them on places like Queens Crap.

the less cred they have among the public, the better it is for all of us.

The city needs to be proactive not reactive.
Don't tell me we don't have the money. BS

Could someone explain to me how NYC is considered the "greatest city in the world", when it is completely overpriced and out of the reach of most people, it is dirty (not just Jamaica), the quality of life pretty much sucks (except if your are mega rich) and our elected officials are the worst (Jamaica's are the worst in all of NYC).

No other major city has the worst quality of life in the USA than NYC.

Joe

for the same reason that USA is considered the greatest democracy in the world and the grassroots civics everywhere else puts us to shame.
