Wanted poster shows possible killer

"Here is a picture of a person of interest that the police are looking for in Nicholas' shooting. There are more photos of others and when they are available they will be posted. This person was running down 106th street towards Jamaica Ave after Nick was shot and in his hand was Nick’s book bag. Anyone with information please call 800-577-TIPS; all calls remain anonymous. Nicholas Cordova's family is looking for some closure as to why this happened to Nick and we are asking for everyone’s help."

Sorry, but the nyc council let bloomberg cut the police department nearly 20%. They let seasoned Detectives leave. You can't get a cop and promote him to det. and have him start solving crimes the next day.It takes mentoring from senior detectives,of which there are very few.The ones that are still there are so overburdened they don't have time to mentor.Remember this next time you pay your taxes and when you vote..... What i really meant to say is this perp has about a 45% chance of getting caughtand even less of getting convicted.

Innocent until proven guilty.

The original post indicates this person is wanted for homicide, not assumed guilty. Some people on this board are natural born antagonist, trying to stir the pot.

I’m a member of the Cordova family who does not reside in your community, are you not concerned that a murder is at your door step? This could have happened to anybody on the board; from an insider looking out you do not want to endure what the Cordova family has the past several weeks. You guys need to pool resources in effort to prevent this horrific tragedy in the future and stop bashing your mayor and police department for problems that start with you as members of the community.

Pool resources? WTF are you talking about? You want people on this site to hunt for a murderer?
