From the Daily News:The hot dog vendor who served Mayor Bloomberg and the British prime minister had some frank words for City Hall Thursday.
Abdus Salam, 41, bad-mouthed the mayor and city agencies for slapping vendors with frivolous fines that eat up profits.
"A lot of people get tickets for $1,000," Salam griped to the Daily News. "You get a $1,000 ticket, you can't work anymore."
The Brooklyn resident, who sells $2 wieners outside Penn Station, said he had to pay $400 for three tickets in the past year.
The city Health Department issued him one for not having wet wipes. The police gave him one for stacking his soda cans too high and another for stationing his cart too far from the curb.

Real New Yorkers don’t eat those dogs. They know who to buy from and who not to buy from. This guy is definitely a "No Buy". Now if he really wanted to impress the PM he could have taken him to Dominick on Woodhaven Blvd, those are some tasty dogs!
I don't like Bloomberg, but I don't care for all these food carts either. Get rid of all food carts in the city, and throw out Bloomberg with them!
I'm torn between my hate for the police state and their constant throttling of the common citizen... and my hate for the savages that often run these carts.

Tons of people eat from those carts which is why they are in business and enjoying the fruits of capitalism.
I do agree that this is certainly hypocritical of Mike to eat a dirty water dog and than set health restrictions for the rest of us.

if he has an issue with mike, and city hall, as i do from what i have just read..... he should have said something right then and there. but he is a pussy.
i would have said " oh, mr mayor you and your freind want a hot dog? fuck you 2 million dollars each"

If he dared talk back to Bloomberg there would have been another $1000 fine. That's not being a pussy, it's having to feed your family.
He should've shoved a hot dog up the mayors ass but that little troll might've like it....
So the NYPD gave this vendor a summons for stacking his soda cans too high,GIVE ME A BREAK! What is the problem here? That they are going to collapse like a deck of cards and fall on somebody's foot.
They have summonses for anything and everything in NYC!

Sarah, I couldn't have said it better myself. Why treat the PM to a tasteless grey city hotdog when we have the best hotdogs in the 5 boros at dominicks truck.
