Mall victim back in hospital

From NY1:

The teenager who was injured when a woman jumped from a railing in the Queens Center Mall has returned to the hospital.

Sources say Derrik Munoz is being examined by doctors after his head wounds reopened and he began vomiting.

The Long Island teen needed 23 staples to close a three-inch wound on his head.

Update Saturday - He's back out of the hospital and the family has hired an attorney. Cha-Ching!

Thank God he survived. One earlier poster to the suicide story mistakenly had him as dead.

I hope he makes a fast and complete recovery.

Why was he kept overnight for observation??? Elmhurts hosp is a poor excuse for a hospitsl. Come on --commom sense demanded that he be kept for at least 24 hours!!!
