Wheel-y bad theft

Letter to State Senator Serf Maltese:

Senator,

My wife and I will not be available to make it to the Town Hall Meeting this month, but we both have a major concern and complaint in our community that we would like to have heard.

On July 3rd of this month at 59-22 69th Lane in Maspeth at 2:45am I was awoken to the sounds of my truck alarm going off. I went downstairs to deactivate my alarm, and to look at my vehicle to find all the wheels on my truck gone and my truck balancing on two cinder blocks. All of this happening only two houses down from mine. I proceeded to call the police who arrived in a matter of about 10 minutes. I was able to file my police report, but found it alarming that I was told by the officers and the local tow truck driver who was on the scene that this is the 6th incident in the last week to week and a half of this happening. When hearing this and also the cops arriving at a very reasonable time I found it odd that there was no attempt to cruise the area for a few minutes, or radio the precinct of a possible vehicle in the area. I am not in law enforcement, but to me that seems like the right thing to do.

Here are my family’s major concerns and complaints for our community;

- Before this incident I parked my truck in front of my house every night blocking my driveway. I own the two houses that this driveway is for and both houses are under video surveillance. There are of a total of three cameras that watch the entire front of both houses and the front of the driveway. The one night that I parked my truck two houses down out of range of these cameras is the night they vandalized my vehicle. This tells me one thing; these individuals are casing the entire neighborhood. They have to be driving around on a regular basis looking for vehicles and patterns and also security weakness. Bottom Line – We need more patrol cars cruising our streets.
- Since this incident I have been voicing my concerns to my neighbors and friends. I have also been keeping tabs on more incidents in my area. Almost one week after my incident they did the same thing exactly two blocks down from me on the same street and shortly after that one block up from me on the same street. This block has quick and easy access to the LIE which is maybe why they are targeting it. Bottom Line – We need more patrol cars cruising our streets.
- If there have been so many similar incidents of this kind why has this not been moved up to a detective’s squad or task force? Bottom Line – The 104 Precinct needs to step up and do something.

Senator I moved to this neighborhood 7 years ago when I got married and I enjoy living here, but when someone cannot even park their vehicle on their own block, let alone next to their own house, it is very disheartening. I am aware of all the staffing issues at the 104 Precinct, but I hope this can be added to their long list of concerns. I will make all the effort in the world to make it to the next meeting and voice any more concerns I have, and also see what has been done on this front.

Thank you for your time and support in our community.

Mike Giammarco

Serf will send you a sweet letter in response, some inane literature about birthdays on yours, and drop off a baggie of stuff about the flag you already love at your house. Will you see more cops? Not a chance.

That is so ghetto.

We need to spend your taxes not on services that benefit you and your family, but benefit the machine to get reelected so they can make honest graft.

Are you an illegal day laborer that needs a shape up hall?

Are you a developer that needs someone to walk your paperwork through the system and write nice articles in the press lulling the locals to sleep as you steal their waterfront?

Did you crank out a bunch of kids knowing that you cannot support them, but confident that in Tweeder World, you have a ful range of survices provided for by John Q?

Do you need a bike lane or trees planted for your new development?

If you said no to the above, the problem is yours. How is spending money (sorry, taxes taken out of your paycheck) on things YOU want going to make money for THEM?

Why didn't he park in his driveway?

Crime rate is up in this city.

Commissar death and Taxes has cut NYPD by more than 5000 cops.

Commissar has not yet cut the moronic CAU which has yet to accomplish anything. It doesn't even accomplish worthless goals.

But, Commissar D&T has multi-BILLIONS (of our tax dollars) to hand to crony developers to seize land belonging to citizens, so the developers and the Commissar can make even more money.

Commissar D&T encourages illegal aliens to swamp our schools, hospitals, jails and take jobs from citizens. (the thieves in this case were likely a bunch of illegals).

Maltese will skip doing anything of useful consequence for this citizen, or anyone else for that matter, because his real serious interest is in getting reelected.

Remember, Gallagher and Como are both former lackeys of Maltese. So, don't expect any effort by Maltese.

Actually, the realistic conclusion is that we are entirely on our own until we dump Maltese and Como and demand far, far more from their replacements. And, then dump them, just to show who's boss.

Just 90 days to vote.

Register. Forget any party loyalty. There is no such thing.

Then vote.

Exercise control over events!

Q: WTF is that useless Gallagher clone, Anthony Como doing about this crime wave?

A: Planning his new fundraiser at Barosa's.

Maltese Keeps Pumping Out Losers

We have Serph Maltese to thank for all of the corruption and incompetence in the Queens Republican Party. While he sends us birthday greetings at taxpayer expense crime is on the rise.

Remember, Maltese gave us that rapist gambling dirtbag, Dennis Gallagher, the scheming Tom Ognibene and now Anthony "Overdevelopment" Como who hired Gallagher's corrupt staff.

For years Serph made deals with the Democrats not to challenge judge appointments. In return equally corrupt Queens Dems didn't challenge him on his Senate reelection bids. He ran unopposed for well over a decade.

Como's a lifelong political hack who holds fund raisers at Barosa's, hangs out with shady characters and is has half the political savvy of Gallagher.

Throw in all of the problems at Christ the King HS and it's clear that Serph must go.

I called Como's office about rats in the neighborhood. We'll see what he does about it.

"I called Como's office about rats in the neighborhood. We'll see what he does about it"

Which rats are in your neighborhood? Serf? Gallagher?
Como isn't likely to go after his fellow rodents.

The NYPD thugs are much too busy with important issues like taking bribes or beating the shit out of innocent people to bother and fight real crime.

pigslovespigs, I guess you mouthed off to the wrong cop who shut your big mouth for you, and now you have to resort to bad-mouthing them in the safety of your mom's basement while your jaw heals.

Why didn't he park in his driveway?

Does it really matter? People shouldn't be stealing your rims and tires regardless of where you park your car in Queens.

He may be a hack but who cares where he holds his fundraisers? Do you have a catering hall snubbed by the portly politician? or are you trying to make some vailed poke at italian eateries

Why didn't he park in his driveway?

not that it matters, but he's probably a renter without driveway access. It still should not happen even if he were parked 2 blocks away

...no just connected Italian eateries.

connected? to the electric in the street? will one of you be bringing this up at the town hall meeting they are having?

Anonymous said...

See Italian eatery owners located on Woodhaven Blvd who have done time for gambling, among other things.

time for gambling, among other things.

what other things? and if someone did time they can not "own" this type of establishment.

Maspeth Moms says

If you "read" the letter, he says he owns both houses. The point of the letter was to let cops and neighbors know that he feels homes and cars are being watched by theives.
Stop with the name calling- Dont you have any dignity??

You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

Maspeth mom, instead of writing on this blog and feeding your face please attend to your children and give us a break!

Mi hai fatto proprio ridere stamattina. Grazie.
Pero, mostrare il culo con braghe a vita bassa e di moda. Anche se ha il culone grosso e flaccido.

italian girl and stallion, thank you for reminding everyone who the first non english speaking immigrant slobs were that started our decent into the abyss.

oh george, don't be jealous

of????????? just saying there is alot of time dedicated to bitching at immigrants here, yet these two decide to speak in a foreign language to show "latinos" aren't the only one who invaded?

Anonymous said...

difference between italian immigrants and other immigrants:

1) Italians DID NOT expect everyone to speak their language.
2) Italians did not come here expecting handouts.
3) Italians WORKED very hard.
4) Italians were proud to call themselves American.
5) Italians brought over fantastic cuisine.
6) Italians are generally just classy people.

And America was supposedly named after an Italian, Amerigo Vespucci.

But please, this America. Let's all speak english please.

Italians WORKED very hard.

that's a John Gotti quote isn't it?

before you wail about stereo typing, count how many mob movies you've watched and talked about.

Italians are generally just classy people.

Yeah, see the Reka video from yesterday.

Anonymous said...

my list was based on generalities. every group of people has their trash. right? don't compare all italians to mobsters. most regular italians are hard-working, good people.
and reka? he is the definition of "wannabe".

6) Italians are generally just classy people.

don't forget
7) the mob
8) concrete -- MV needs stoops
9) the IROC
10) high hair
11) sanitation workers
12) the mob
13) female facial hair
14) Mary on the half shells
15) Enormous Christ heads on chains
16) they move in mass creating ghettos in their wake
17) great politicians like, Avella, Giuliani, Como, Maltese
18) the mob

wannabe italian? or mobster? are you saying only Italians are generallized against? The mob movies are to Italians what Rap is to blacks, you claim the violence is stereo typing yet FLOCK to help support the people creating these stereo types.

saw goodfellas and hated it

bullshit, I haven't met the zip yet who proclaimed to hate that movie. you're just out of ammo (like most italian armies of recent history)

Anonymous said...

i can assure you. i thought it really sucked. i never liked ray liotta. and henry hill? what kind of mobster is named henry hill? not authentic in my opinion. joe pesce i'll admit plays the quinessential gumba. he was good, as always. and robert deniro is in a class all his own.
actors - good
movie - bad

i also found jack nicholson who played costello unbelievable as a mobster in The Departed. not all italians love mob movies. so stop making generalizations.

Anonymous said...

jack nicholson who played costello

that was based on whitey bulger and Irish mobster, and in the movie he even claims to be Irish not Italian

Anonymous said...

not all italians love mob movies

but most do, truth may hurt but accept it.

Anonymous said...

what kind of mobster is named henry hill?

in real life he was half irish half iti

There were two cars which had been 'de-wheeled' in Kew Gardens in May. One was a Honda on my block which I'm assuming had flashy rims, and the other was a brand new Mercedes. I can't recall seeing two instances of this so close to one another like that ever.

This is off-topic, but I second the question "why didn't this person park in their driveway". The parking space is so limited in Queens, so why do those that have driveways or garages don't use them. If one thing I hate is driving for an hour trying to find an empty parking spot. People should be more considerate.

Anonymous said...

maybe he had two other cars in his driveway

Queens Crapper said...

Because the driveways in that part of Queens were built in the 1920s when the cars were narrow. A truck or regular sized car would not fit down there. Been that way for decades.
