Fencing lessons in Maspeth

This wonderful company at Maurice Avenue, 53rd Drive and 61st Street opens their gate every day and tethers it to a telephone pole. I believe in NYC you are supposed to have a fence that opens 'in' and not 'out' for safety reasons. Second, you are not allowed to tie anything to public utility poles. Third, and most importantly, you may not block the sidewalk. Looks like both DOB and DOT need to make a visit to this corner.

MY question is, what are you doing on the wrong side of Calvary cemetery? Did your car get towed? ;)

Last time I checked, that was Mount Zion Cemetery.

that Maurice Avenue sign looks like it's about to fall off, too.

DOB & DOT will do nothing.

Corruption and defiance of the law are so deeply ingrained in these agencies, as well as orders from the Commissar to do nothing for Queens, keep these two from performing their work.

the DOB & DOT headquarters are probably like recreation centers, with billiard tables and small-scale bowling alleys in them to give employees something to do.

Looks like a great place for a hotel.

Rather than complaining about it here, why not call 311?

I already had called 311. Why are you up late commenting on very old posts?
