Not at all surprised.
The newspapers are press kits for the politicians anyway. A small group of a few hundred with clubhose ties go to each others functions, and publicise each others programs.
A small clique runs Queens. Easy to overturn if it weren't for the tweeded and the brain dead.
Well, well, well. They did indeed post a comment of mine (re the Asian whorehouses). Let's see how Grandma answers.
Where did Borough President Marshall retire to I haven't heard from her replacement yet. Seems that Claire Shulman is gainfully employed - what a great idea a walkway along the Flushing river - does she intend to nab a City concession to sell gas-masks?
Boy is that an old photo
of that Bovine bitch!
The upper plate of her false teeth
don't even fit right....
too big for even her big mouth!
Her teeth don't fit because she used George Washington"s dentist.
Do you think that this comment will be approved?
"Currently the City is negotiating with some land owners and businesses regarding relocation that is fair and equitable."
Claire, who are you kidding? Judging from the various press reports and the video produced by the property owners, this is a land grab that is a flagrant attempt to take property away from legitimate businesses in order for the mayor's buddies (and yourself) to profit. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!! Your column does nothing more than to confuse and lie to your audience who should be told the truth and not suffer from the propaganda put forth by those who stand to gain from such an insulting governmental process. The abuse of eminent domain by Bloomberg & friends will not be ignored! Of course the property should be cleaned up and the environmental issues need to be dealt with but I would like to see this done appropriately, with the full cooperation and inclusion of the current businesses that already exist on the site. Claire, in the long run, your selfishness and pandering to special interest groups will destroy your legacy.
Shulman sold out
the historic RKO Keith's.....
along with her boss Manes !
What makes anyone think
that she's playing fairly in the Willets Point game ?
This seeming dullard
of a smiling Queens' house frau
needs to be watched very carefully.
She's a wolf in sheep's garb !
Interesting how Claire shows up in Willets Point - lot of $$ to be made in a number of ways for her. From partnering with sellers, to consultanting, lobbying the City and finally the development phase. Who's kidding who at Willets Point, this should have been the ideal site to build the Olympic Stadium. As a plan B Doctoroff blew it, DOA. Now the place will become a developer's heaven to botch up a major part of Queens.
Greetings All!
I just checked and the Queens Courier published my comment!!! I wonder if there will be a response??!?!
Retired politicos never fade ....
they just become lobbyists !
