Albany stealing from the dead

From the NY Post:

A Brooklyn lawmaker is pushing legislation that would stop Albany's ghoulish practice of swiping millions of dollars from a fund intended to restore New York's neglected and vandalized cemeteries.

The fund is fed by a $5 tax levied on families of the dead for a burial plot.

Democrat Brennan's bill was introduced just days after The Post reported last week that Albany had diverted $5.6 million from the cemetery restoration fund since it was created in 1988.

Only $4.4 million of the $10 million collected was actually spent on cemetery repairs, state records showed.

And could the Staviskys
have been stealing from the just-about-to-be-dead for years,
via their
NORTH FLUSHING SENIOR CENTER?

H-m-m-m...that's for the federal boys and girls to determine.

For what that center rakes in,
only a fraction is dispensed.

How many $$$$$ have the seniors sacrificed to the Stavisky political campaign war chest (after it's been properly laundered)?
