City Hall Park infested with rats

The infestation of rats in City Hall Park, clearly an embarrassment to the city, was acknowledged in interviews by senior officials of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the city’s lead agency for rodent control, and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Where the Rats Come Out to Play

“It’s just a big issue down there and we all recognize it,” said Jessica Leighton, the health department’s deputy commissioner for environmental health. Adrian Benepe, the commissioner of parks and recreation, said that City Hall Park provided “a perfect set of circumstances for rats.”

Actually, the fact that there are a bevy of rats scurrying around outside City Hall is not surprising. They actually are a lot more respectable than the ones that mill around inside the place from Monday thru Friday.

The biggest and ugliest rat running around City Hall is that indicted grand motherfucker, Councilman Dennis P. Gallagher.

Of course there are rats loose in City Hall Park. Rats go where they are most welcome and are made to feel at home.

The Rat is often pictured at the foot of Ganesha
(the Hindu Elephant god) .

Both represent the removers of all obstacles.

I wish the same could be said for those lazy
corrupt two legged inhabitants of city hall !

Now if we could only remove
some of them from office.

Hey......it's recall time.....
Ms. Quinn, Katz, "Pinky" Gallagher, etc.
