Bush approves FEMA aid for Queens

Queens will receive federal disaster assistance following severe storms earlier this month that flooded swathes of the borough and damaged more than 1,000 homes, federal officials said Friday.

President Bush signed a major disaster declaration for Queens homeowners, renters and business owners whose property was damaged or destroyed by the weather, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced.

(her basement) got flooded.....
and Joe Crowley's cellar got filled with 2 feet of water,
they made a few calls to Washington D.C.

Crawley will undoubtedly be lauded for all his efforts to help the locals (despite the fact that his campaign donors caused this) and of course, giving the folks back their own taxes, and getting credit for it, is pretty neat, isn't it?

This is CRAP !
This bails out "Fedders Special" homes with below grade driveways & basement parking/illegel apartments that shouldnt be there in the first place.
