Shady shuttle buses parking at Queens Botanical Garden

You may recall that a few months ago, the Flushing Phantom sent in a photo series depicting Downtown Flushing that showed the buses lining up there illegally to shuttle patrons out of the BID and off to Woodbury Commons and Tanger Outlets.

Quite accidentally, I stumbled upon their parking the Queens Botanical Gardens.

The 45 degree view from Google Maps shows that this has been going on for quite some time.

Interestingly, the Queens Botanical Garden says that it charges the following:

"From November 1 to March 31, the Parking Garden is open for special events only. Fee: $5 per vehicle."

Is the Garden renting out parking spaces to these buses in a special arrangement?

Looks that they are sanctioned to park there. That's not a bus depot - where is the permit that the botanical gardens has for allowing buses to run there?

With Susan Lacerte running "the show" at the weed garden of earthly delights, anything is possible!

This city council retread will do anything to squeeze a dollar for her so called not for profit.

But they provide their services to fit the needs of the community, and like your local elected that funds three programs in their district to encourage playwrights of Greek, Peruvian, and Bangladeshi background, they 'fit the needs of the community'.

Where is the Comptroller? Where is the Public Advocate? What's going on here? Who's making money off this? Does anyone care? Obviously Not. Just business as usual in Queens.

The City Council is funding this bus service! One of the buses was even donated by Claire. I saw one with a photo of her on the rear of it. What a mess.

Where is the Comptroller? You mean John Liu? Really?

The bus or Claire?

Somebody ought to investigate Susan Lacerte,
with some of the shenanigans she's pulled in the past.

Has she used dedicated donations for other purposes than they were earmarked for?

Should someone be asking Joan Bluestone where her tulip money went?

Gee who on CB7 could be making change on this one?
