Jerk shovels snow into neighbor's driveway

I've enjoyed your blog for a while now. I have a video to contribute if you find it worthy.

My next door neighbor thought it was OK to shovel his snow into my driveway!

The pile was almost 4 feet high when they were done.

Just amazing!

Putting a garbage can in the street in front of your home can bring you a $100 ticket. Call the precinct.

I can't imagine living next to someone like that. It must be vey uncomfortable.

With all due respect - I don't know your history with this fellow - but have you tried approaching him cordially to explain that this is an inconvenience to you, in addition to being a citable offense? He is your neighbor, after all. Maybe he just wasn't thinking straight this morning? Or is this part of an ongoing neglect on his part?

Burbs? You folks got stranded on the LIE overnight and elsewhere waiting for someone to save you cmon? Happy life out there with hurricaines and snowstorms - enjoy it all.

The guy in the video will get an old fashion beating when he least expects it.

My neighbor is elderly, I shoveled his sidewalk.

I hope in 40 years, there will be someone like me to do it for me then.

dollster; You are delusional and in for a rude awakening. You will not find a more selfish and "me first" bunch than your new neighbors. Trust me, lived my first 25 years in both Suffolk and then Nassau. Queens certainly has it's share, mind you, but are not as whiney as your new neighbors. Mark my words and good luck.

Guy on my block measures the distance from the middle of his house to his driveway, then puts a mountain of snow there so you can't park in front of his house without blocking his driveway -- kind of like a big frozen garbage can. Last night someone made it onto the mountain, so now he's actually shoveling more snow on top of it to make it really high. He's a Deacon at St. Mary's Church. All I know is Jesus wouldn't do that!

No, I did not shovel it back. I'd be just as bad as them.
These folks have been a problem since they moved in about ten years ago. Reasoning, being fair, compromising, cooperating, suggesting, requesting; none of that has worked in ten years. I doubt the spark of humanity will ignite now. The guy doing the shoveling is actually the boyfriend of the older daughter that moved back home with the boyfriend last month. We all have our crosses to bear.

The guy that posted the video.

i understand your situation completely. my so-called neighbors ,owners of a attached 2-fam. wanted to use my adjacent property to access their rear yard. their building was constructed on the property line in the 40's.

i erected a "do not trespass "sign, which permitted NYPD to arrest any one doing so.

they eventually moved ,and rented both apartments and illegal cellar, for 25 years. their decent tenants quickly left each time ,because of the landlords harassment.

the d.o.b. visited many times ,but NEVER resolved the illegal cellar ,until the tenants using candles on Valentines Day,burned the cellar and first floor.

the insurance co. paid for the damage, and the d.o.b. still did not fine them?

they continued to rent it.
my car was damaged while the F.D.N.Y. went over it and through my yard to enter their cellar from the rear yard. he would not put a claim in to his insuranc e Co.

he recently called the N.Y.P.D. to evict his decent tenants with bogus drug use reasons. he got them out.
And has now moved his siblings and spouse back.

life is not always fair......

The beauty of this video is that the neighbor across the street is shoveling his neighbor's driveway. I know the neighbor who got his snow shoveled away. Sometimes if you look beyond the jerk you see a class act.
