This is a suspicious death, it seems a little early to dismiss criminality, unless the typical 63-year old woman visiting Kissena Park is usually found dead in Kissena Lake of natural causes.

Anyone who's been to this park knows there are always little old Chinese ladies — bright red Asian grocery bags in tow — picking through the brush harvesting weeds. In Flushing, one man's weeds are another Asian woman's dinner greens.

I have no doubt the woman went there around dusk, not to be spotted near the lakeside, and lost her footing near the weed beds (a red Chinese grocery bag floating nearby).

Maybe this IS an EVIL place!

In the past quite a few suicides have occurred in Kissena Park...."strange fruit" dangling from trees....people who have hanged themselves.

It's also been a favorite spot for dumping bodies for many years.

Maybe its close proximity to the cemeteries contributes to it.
