College Point sidewalk abruptly ends

If he really wanted a safe and clean street for his kids, he should have picked a better neighborhood to live in. Don't move next to an industrial area because it's cheap, and then complain that it is unpleasant.

Everything "ENDS" , or ends up, in College Point.

It's considered a dumping ground, and looked upon by crooked officials as the asshole of northeast Queens.

If you don't like it move! This is what they say in Vallone's district, and this is what they will say when Vallone becomes Queens Boro President.

Love the fact that the guy can't believe it's like this in America!

What does this have to do with the fact that DOT failed to install a sidewalk and DSNY is not making sure the area is clean? Sidewalks are required in industrial areas, and receive sanitation services, too.

Why do assholes in Queens always blame the victims?

And why is there always a knee-jerk reaction against anyone trying to improve their community? Who wants Queens to remain looking like a dump?

Its not DOT's responsibility ti install the sidewalk. The property owner should be held liable

It's DOT's responsibility when it's city-owned property. Besides, even if it was privately owned, the DOT is responsible for installing sidewalks and billing the owner if they won't do it themselves.
