Sounds like David Paterson a little?

Joe said...

Yep Paterson.
What a lousy job
SNL should let the main talent write the jokes and fire a good 1/2 of those crappy gay writers.
These people from Pa and the midwest have turned the show to total shit. The only people from New York are Kristen and "Speedy" the stage tech

And then God Willing, we can start on Queens...

Yes, that rings true.

What a contrast between a master of comedy like Jim Carrey and the unfunny current SNL cast. The Black Swan parody is an instant classic sketch.

I was surprised jim carrey didn't do one of his fire marshall bill sketches.

Jim Carrey is a master of comedy? Wow.

Not faggy enough. Back to the drawing boards!

Current SNL cast

I worked on that show, what a "club" of miserable people. They don't let the cast do anything but read Q cards.
Every line is made up by this team of writers (all gay people BTW). They then run through what they came up with live in front 8PM dress rehearsal audience and re-write what doesn't work.
That's why you will see a cast member crack up every once and a wile reading the Q cards. (they don't know what lines are coming at them 1/2 the time)

The people on the floor seats you often see inter-reacting with guests and casts during monologs are paid "extras" who get paid to laugh and clap through all the lousy effeminate material.
These same people write and produce many of the other lame shows on NBC. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin all the same faces and lousy weak gayish materal.
Its one big buddy system and that's why TV today sucks wind !!!!

at the recent kennedy center,
mark twain awards, was that TINA FEY or EDDIE MUNSTER?

I thought it was Sarah Palin.

Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin reminds me of Andrea Martin's character Edith Prickley of SCTV, especially the way their ears stick out. SCTV was a funny show.(Rest in Peace, John Candy)

Hey Joe, for someone that supposedly worked for SNL, you should know they're not "Q cards" but "cue cards."

Anon No. 12--

SCTV was incredily funny, especially Joe Flaherty, as underraed a comic talent as there's been over the last few decades. Did you ever see their take off of "Taxi Driver"?

An you should know on a live set the words "cue and card" "miming" (lip syncing) are taboo.

The person working the stacks of them stands to the right of camera and flashes them wile holding them like the letter Q.
--Thats what your told to go with.

Words like cue, teleprompter, pre-recorded, casted, knocking a fellow actor are taboo
This is all to hid the fact most actors are stupid talentless puppets that can only handle "short-shorts" going by line.
I remember Jack Nicholson telling the writers to "stick it" and yelling his suite looks like shit when he came on with Helen Hunt. Jack didn’t to the rehearsal just ran out and totally winged it.

Leave it to an asshole to use spelling to discredit sombody over spelling...congreedulshons !
