NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to the public for help as they try to find a man who allegedly attempted to abduct a 14-year-old in Queens.
The suspect grabbed the girl from behind and attempted to push her into the back seat of a dark colored car, according to police. The victim was able to get free and run to a school were she reported the incident.
This all happened around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 67 Avenue and Yellowstone Blvd. in Rego Park, according to police.
The suspect is described as 5'10", approx 150lbs., and was wearing a brown Gucci baseball hat, a dark jacket with gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

I'm sure they are great at what they do b/c it's a low crime neighborhood, but that happened within 2 blocks of the Precinct!
