DOB finally moves to close illegal hotel
MYFOXNY.COM - It's one of the busiest times of the year for hotels in the city. But some tourists looking for a place to stay may be left out in the cold, thanks to a hotel that Fox 5 has been investigating for more than a year.
The city has slapped "Vacate: Perilous to Life" signs on the Broadway Hotel in Manhattan. The city says the place is way over capacity by more than 400 people. Fox 5 started asking questions about safety there in 2008.
