The city's Economic Development Corporation says the $190 million redevelopment of the former Queens Family Court building is nearing completion.
$190 million taxpayer dollars for something that looks like it's out of an acid trip. Great job, EDC!

I think its great.
I think it makes a mockery out of preservation. 'round these parts, of course, this is considered a "victory". $190M is a ridiculous price tag. They could have built from scratch for less.
I bet the Queens Chamber of Commerce gave them an award.
Yet another example, as someone on this board characterized our borough's elite, as a tiny group living in an out-of-touch Alice-in-Wonderland world.
