Construction Worker Hurt in Times Square

MyFoxNY.com -- A construction worker was injured early Thursday in Times Square at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue. His condition was not immediately known.

Around 4:10 a.m., a piece of concrete fell on the worker, trapping him.

Emergency workers freed the man, who was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Early reports stated he was in serious condition but that could not be immediately confirmed.

Merely collateral damage. This city needs growth and that's the cost of it.

4:10am. Must have gotten a special permit for that.
