Katz keeps part of litter box clean

The Department of City Planning is proposing to rezone a section of southern Forest Hills to protect its lower-density residential character.

Forest Hills Councilwoman Melinda Katz requested a rezoning study that led to the formalized proposal.

City Contemplates Rezoning Forty Blocks Of Forest Hills

About 80 percent of the houses are one- and two-family homes, and the other 20 percent are attached brick houses and a few large homes.

The zoning changes have been in the works for more than 10 years. Since the zoning maps were computerized, there has been a rush of rezoning.

Well, what do you know...Katzi-watzi has been reading this site...She looked in the mirror and finally her conscience got to her?

I'm shocked!! It's about time she did something for her constituents.

Yes.....the power of the press....I MEAN THIS BLOG-SITE...has apparently ripped her a new one!

Maybe she'll learn to "canoodle" with her constituents for a change!

She favors downzoning this time around, since that is where she lives. This confirms how selfish she is. How about downzoning the Cord Meyer section which is rapidly being replaced by mcmansions? Ask her that question, and she'll never give you a direct response. Melinda Katz will continue to step on other parts of Forest Hills and sections in Queens as a councilmember and Chair of Land Abuse. It's slated for the sleazy mega developers.

Do you suppose that if we bribe her with a 6 year supply of "Fancy Feast" she might consider restoring the Trylon Theater?
