Accordian craphouses
These 2 doozies in Maspeth are 51-43 & 51-45 69th Street. Plans for both of these state: "Three (3) family dwelling with (2) off-street parking spaces." The parking is supposedly located in the space between the sidewalk and the front doors. Not surprisingly, the lot was owned and the homes built by the realtor next door.

Once again a builder not building to plans. How unusual.
These are actually a series of duplex "out-houses" where busy shoppers can relieve their bowels or perform other private bodily functions! (Toilets facilities at Mc Donalds often get overcrowded).
Weren't these built by the "Shop 'n Crap" chain?
The style of architecture is appropriately enough......"supreme shit-house"!

Where is the 8-foot side yard required in R4? And why is there a State Farm Insurance sign in R4?
Is that a 10-foot or an 18-foot deep front yard?
Curb Cuts must be 16 feet apart.

The house these houses are attached had all the side windows sealed up and the fire escape on the side was removed as well. My wifes mother and father live a few houses down from this thing and I have seen the transformation first hand over the last years even from when it was Ernies Meat Market.... Remember that?
