Turner wins, Weprin not conceding

From NY1:

Republican Bob Turner captured the seat vacated by long-time Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner, upsetting Democrat David Weprin in Tuesday's special election.

With 66 percent of precincts reporting as of midnight, Turner had 53 percent of the vote to Weprin's 47 percent.

Turner's victory represents an historic upset in a district where Democrats outnumber Republicans by a 3-to-1 margin. The district hasn't had a Republican congressman since 1923.

"It's not over yet," Weprin said shortly after midnight, after NY1 and the Associated Press called the race for Turner. "There's still quite a few ballots to be counted."

The voters in Queens opened their eyes for a change and voted for the better candidate.

Weprin should change his meds. He always looks like he's in a stupor. Weird facial expressions too. The people are finally catching on...

Queens Machine gets bitchslapped. Love it.

It's because Crowley is an idiot who chose an unfavorable candidate.

Queens carried Weprin. Brooklyn did not.

Now the Democratic vultures can start dividing up the district when the seat is eliminated in re-districting.

Weprin will concede after the squirrel that is sitting on his head falls off.

You read 2 numbers (3, if you want to count the Socialist Workers Party) off the scanner, and call it in. Why the results were not available at 9:15pm needs to be investigated.

Now known as Weepering.

Losers also were Crowley, who gave us the incompetent Weprin; Parkside Group and Evan; and Koo, who crossed party lines to endorse Weprin.

Is it? Are you sure about that? I doubt it now. It would have been eliminated if Weprin won. Then he would have walked into a weak Ackermans seat when he retires. Now thats not going to happen so easily.

Thanks Loki for bringing that to my attention today.

Has Weprin conceded yet? Because Turner's getting sworn in today.

Turner take your coattails elsewhere in the city to get folks excited about what you've accomplished and take them along for a winning ride in November and obviously next year for the biggest Democratic liberal flame-out ever.

Roy Cohn must have supplied Koch from the Doogie Town semenary for him not to notice which slate is more habibi-hugging.

Game, set, match....it's over "Duvid"....
give it up already, you tookas!

And can't Weprin afford a better "rug" with what he's been skimming off of his constituency?

In a stupor?
He's just plain stupid.

His brother Mark is the sharper tool on the bench.
