Como's sure thing

From the Times Ledger:

An anonymous source close to the Como campaign said he dropped out to accept an appointment by the Bloomberg administration to a spot in a city agency, likely to be the Department of Housing. Como will formally announce the appointment after the vetting process is completed, the source said.

Housing? How funny is that? And I guess Bloomberg has no trouble with having a repeated rule breaker on the city payroll. Anything for a third term.

There is just no limit to the incompetence the Commissar looks for in lickspittles.

Here's a guy, building a MacMonstrosity that violated countless building code, eventually earning several Stop Work Orders, that he defied by continuing the violating work anyway.

Has he paid all the penalties?

Probably not. But kickbacks earned in the new slot will take care of that.

Want Como gone?

Give Commissar DEATH and Taxes the boot on November 3. He goes, so will this lazy, incompetent, lawbreaking moron!

Use November 3 to take back control!

Deal making. That is what this Bloomberg Ring is all about.Corrupt they are; not for money but for power and influence. What a poor choice from a mayor who always claims he picks the best.Como? R U Serious? Why does this guy always look like someone interrupted his afternoon nap?

Here's a sure thing, the guy needs to get a neck.

Actually It's a very smart move for him personally. He's not in my district, but considering the amount of work it takes to run a campaign and the fact he would have to deal with Liz. Taking a higher paying appointed job is a better deal. If anyone though that there wasn't any deal making going on when it comes to endorsements and appointment , your out of touch.
How do you think Tom Ogbiene got his. Deal making my friend. It's what the city runs on.
Have a nice day.

One of the games these guys play is the "get a city pension" game. They move around, get years in here and there, and we wind up paying for them for the rest of their g-danged lives. They serve on boards, commissions, in do-nothing jobs, some teach a course at CUNY, and it all adds up to pension credits. Plus full benefits. On our dime. Beautiful.

I would've taken Como over Crowley any day of the week. What about Crowley's stop work order on a City issued office and has a sign been placed over that eyesore of an office yet covering the word prescriptions from a business long ago?

Anonymous (Como?), you can have Como. It's not my job to defend Elizabeth Crowley, but, this idiotic lie has been repeated for several months now.

The Stop Work Order was directed against Phillips Realty, who owns the entire building, and who were responsible for the work being done preparatory to leasing the office space to the city council for use by Crowley.

No sane person wanted continued use of the Gallagher/Como building that featured the Rape Room for personal use.

Well, no sane person. Proved true by the fact that Como enjoyed the use of that room in his short term.

As for your gibberish about a sign and the word prescription; what the hell are you trying to say? Are you Como, or drunken Gallagher (or have you merged?)?
