Let me guess, hmmmmm what could it be? What is Dave Kerpen best qualified to run for? Hmmmmmm. Let me think. Hmmmmmm. Wait a minute, I am sure there has got to be something he is qualified for, right? Ummmmmmm, let me think again. Hmmm, how about (sorry drawing lots of blanks)? Ummmmmmm. Oh drat, I cannot think of one single solitary public office, especially HIGHER public office, Dave Kerpen is qualified for. Oh well. I guess we will all just have to wait on pins and needles for the "big announcement." I know the political world is just dying to know...NOT!

Heh, sounds like someone is afraid. Good.

I hope it's Helen Marshall's seat. Everyone in Queens is more qualified than that dingbat to be borough president.

What is Helen Marshall qualified for? How about Elizabeth Crowley?

Just what makes someone qualified to be a representative? I thought it was the desire to make the city better and to help the people who live here. Are these things Dave believes in? We already know the current elected officials don't care about anyone but themselves.

Hey, give the guy a chance. He can't be any worse than what we already have in office. Give him credit for trying to run against these political thieves. Maybe he'll surprise you!

Maybe he's going to join the run for Public Advocate, although if Mark Green does decide to try for it again, he certainly has the name recognition.

Thank you for pointing out what a loser Dave is. "An avid Mets fan". We don't need any more losers in Albany!

I met Dave and he is a good guy. I hope he is running of Queens BP office.

BTW Dave Kerpen was also on a short-lived Fox reality show named Paradise Hotel. Basically, Paradise Hotel revolved about people trading partners and back-stabbing each other resulting in some rather sophomoric dramedy. To Dave's credit he did get runner up in the eventual conclusion of this s***. He was totally screwed by his Britney-esque partner when she decided to keep the money for herself. Just trying to give the voters of Queens some perspective. Great blog.

PS: I know how sad it is that I remember all this.

Oh gosh! What a new lovely box, wrapped so nice and such a beautiful bow! Well, lets look inside – Oh - just another NY Liberal inside, to bad I was so excited.

He's too chicken to run against the Vallone Dynasty. Someone please run!

If he runs against Monserrate he has my vote.

Dave is a very qualified candidate, and will make a great borough president. He may not have a thousand years in government, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. To me, it proves that he's not tainted and not a member of the political machine. And that means he can truly be a representative for the people of Queens- because is one of them- not a machine politician who feels it's essential to remain unknown and distant to the voters (or else they wouldn't be reelected!).
