This catch basin, located at the bottom of a hill at 65th Place and Queens Blvd, is filled to the top with garbage. But I am sure it will be cleaned out before the summer rains come...

Hey well there's a shock. Something in Queens that isn't maintained.
the public has to be held somewhat responsible too. Littering every now and again is one thing, but this is totally out of hand. There have got to be 20 bags worth of trash in that catch basin.
Please do call 311...the DEP does have an interest in cleaning out catch basins and they would appreciate knowing about this. Or you can send them an email through the website and they will be required to respond to you within 7 days...you would be doing everyone in the neighborhood a favor by helping to prevent street flooding.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

Good luck with that.
Looks like Hunters Point after its developed and the city has moved on.
All those Yuppies with dead trees, graffiti on their new buildings and storm drains full of trash and local schools full of diversity.
Its enough to make those towers human warehouses.
littering is NEVER ok ... take some responsibility and grow up.
