The Bloomberg administration doesn't care that all this extra plane traffic puts the people on the ground at risk. More pollution, noise, etc. It's nice that people haven't been daunted by 9/11 but we could use some peace and quiet here.
You can thank Senator Schumer, who has put in a lot of effort on behalf of JetBlue over the past eight years; see this press release and google for a whole lot more. What if he had put that much effort into getting high-speed rail to Upstate cities?

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap

The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods.
