So what's the big deal? Let the guy celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I don't see the point of this post.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, and Liu should have fun along with the rest of us. The point of the post is that Johnny's still spamming people.

The point of the post is after all the damage this fellow has done, the head of the machine is having a special event with him.

What a gesture of support. What a swell fellow.

Two Queens pols hosting a fundraiser in Manhattan...

"The point of the post is that Johnny's still spamming people."

Then put him on your spam list, and get on with the more important things in your life.

Exposing corrupt politicians is an important thing in my life.

So, how does "spamming people" show that Liu is corrupt?

Queens Crapper said...

Corrupt definition: guilty of dishonest practices; lacking integrity; crooked

If you tell someone to take you off their list, and they refuse, that makes them corrupt. The person who sent this in has been spammed for 3 years despite repeatedly asking Liu to remove them from his list.

These definitions are even better:

—Synonyms 1. false, untrustworthy. Corrupt, dishonest, venal apply to one, esp. in public office, who acts on mercenary motives, without regard to honor, right, or justice. A corrupt politician is one originally honest who has succumbed to temptation and begun questionable practices. A dishonest politician is one lacking native integrity. A venal politician is one so totally debased as to sell patronage.

Now I am not so sure that Liu is corrupt. He could be dishonest or maybe even venal.

Maybe he can't help being corrupt or even dishonest..... Remember his father and the Seven Giants? They bilked the Great Eastern Bank for millions. Maybe corruption just runs in his family.

"A corrupt politician is one originally honest who has succumbed to temptation and begun questionable practices."

Spamming is definitely a questionable practice. I think he puts people on his list who he knows don't like him just to bug them.

The question is, was he originally honest or was he never honest? Tough call.

Wow! A fundraiser in Manahttan... Is it possible that Queens, including Flushing, is not good eneough for a little liu liu?

And folks, let's not let Crowley off the hook either. Hey Joe, we remember just how you got the position of US Representative...then big-wig Tom Manton decided not to run again, and conveniently, after the deadline for a primary, made his announcement and coronated you, his boy-lackey, to fill his shoes...Walter McCaffrey and John Sabini certainly did a slow burn with the St Patrick's Day Grand Marshal Manton's CLUBHOUSE SHENANIGANS...but being the good machine stooges they are, they rolled and barked obediently...BTW, how come the SE Queens Black political establishment, the Hispanics, and Asians let the Caucasian boy-wonder Crowley head the party?

Hey, Crapper, the machine is very sensitive about being made fun of. You can't make a photoshop of a Chinese guy wearing Irish gear! Of course your motives will be questioned. Thankfully, I don't give a damn about political correctness and thought it was hilarious.

There still exists a pre war building in Flushing.....directly around the historic Bowne House.

The courtyard of this structure was filled in over 5 years ago with a newer building that has not yet been granted a certificate of occupancy.

Why? Because no NYC Fire Dept. fire engines apparatus etc. can squeeze through the narrow space between the 2 buildings.

This situation endangers the people who live in the existing older building.

Nevertheless, the illegally constructed new buiding is up for sale.

John Liu took campaign contribution money from that builder!

If there is a fire, does Liu become an accomplice in that tragedy? No, he'll probably walk away from it like his crooked father (Joseph Liu) did from the Great Eastern Bank fraud several years back!

The son of a convicted crook doesn't fall far from the tree!
