A walkout ceremony will be held Monday at the Department of Health in
Long Island City for Health Commissioner Dr. David Chokshi.
Monday will be his final day on the job.
Dr. Chokshi has been leading New York City's response to the pandemic since August of 2020.
In an interview with Eyewitness News anchor Bill Ritter, the
outgoing commissioner reflected on the toll the pandemic has taken on
all of us.
"The stress and the grief and the trauma that everyone
has gone through in their own ways so it's hard not to get emotional
when you think about all those effects and the loss that so many people
have experienced," Dr. Chokshi said.
In case anyone who "couldn't fully participate in society in NYC" and lost their job because of this asshole who implemented the vaccine mandate that stole their livelihoods and civil liberties, feel free to protest his "ceremony" at the DOH headquarters located at Queens Plaza. 42-09 28th St Long Island City.

I'm not stressed or grieved. I left NYC over ten years ago and now reside in a somewhat peaceful red state town. No pressure here to take the shot. Only those in pure panic mode have succumbed to their fear and gotten the injection. The rest of us just yawn and go on about our daily lives. The RINO governor of this state tried his best to shut the small businesses in the beginning, but we promised to remove him by any means necessary - impeachment or ballot, etc. He did an about face and gave in. Stand up New Yorkers and stop voting democrat. Whew!
I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt for two years (although growing tired of his lectures), assuming that he isn't responsible for the concealed facts from the CDC, the less-than-full disclosure from the drug companies, the inaccurate "facts" about Covid, and the exaggerated claims for the vaccines. However, he blew that goodwill with his latest Chok - The Goodbye Tour commercials. How presumptuous of this guy to think anybody cares that a bureaucrat is leaving the job. It shows that this guy has just been marketing himself this whole time - on the taxpayer's dime (shame on me for not figuring that out before).
