"Google's already photographed your house. From the north, east, west and south."
Exactly! How do you think the city does its tax evaluation on your house and comes up with those ridiculous numbers our houses are supposed to be worth just so they can raise taxes....
That "Mas Peth" sign was probably written by a native Spanish speaker, don't have to be a genius to figure that out.
Don't these rubes bother having a native English speaker proof read their work first? They can't ask one of their customers? Are all their customers a bunch of prole rubes also? Maybe I shouldn't ask, I don't want to know the answer......
Years ago, I was in Delhi, India for work. I had a driver, and ahead of me was an oil truck with the words: "Hangaly Infambaly" written on the back. At first I thought, "What the hell is that?" Then realized it was supposed to say, "Highly Inflammable". The driver told me that "mostly illiterates paint signs in India".
Maybe the owner of the bodega in Maspeth outsourced the painting of his store sign to a bunch of illiterate guys from India!
Sign painting - another job Americans are no longer willing to do!
Slandering the Poles? Well that would be interesting considering I am one of them. If the Polack Alley reference offends you, then get a life because that's what it's been called for generations by the Poles that live there!

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

No mas!
If Google tries to photograph my house, I'll aim right for the camera.

Actually, Deke, this deli is in the "Polack Alley" part of Mas Peth, so it may be owned by Polish people, but the same principle still applies.
Wow. Now your slandering the Poles.

A disinterested observer could interpret your comment that Poles don't know how to spell "Maspeth".
Daj mi buzi.
A disinterested observer would be incorrect, for they spelled it fine. They just put a space where it doesn't belong.
Sto Lat!
Wesolych Swiat!!!
No you idiot, it's not owned by poles.
