Here's the original link.

Kind of reminds me of this:

no no no no no no no no no no no

this is listed as an SRO AirBNB, I thought hotels don't work like that. The sharing economy has to be abolished now. But first this asshole Kevin must be exposed.

Where will these tenants store their motorized bicycles anyway?

Somewhere some architect hired by a predatory developer with subsidies from the city to provide a pittance of affordable housing is getting inspired.

WTF!!!!! WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO LIVE IN FLUSHING???????

I've boarded my dog in a better kennel.

According to the official news agency in China, the one child per couple ban has just been lifted.
Now two children per couple is the norm.
Hey....this way they can colonize and overpopulated the world. Flushing can expect an onslaught of anchor babies.

Duh Blasio's idea of affordable housing gone viral.
Only the Chinese would tolerate these kind of jail cell conditions.

Cramped living will be the only way to call New York your home address in about twenty years.
That kind of reminds me of an old Limerick.
"There once was a fellow from Boston....who drove a real compact Austin.
There was room for his ass and a gallon of gas....but his balls hung out and he lost 'em"!

Huh? They live there because of the 7 train and LIRR. It's a transportation hub. Now if you could convince them all to shift to Jamaica-- that would be a win-win in a dozen ways.

I have seen people urinate by that church in the little flushing photo i.d.

"The house is located in Flushing, the price only for one beth."

Who is Beth?

Oh thanks God, they have a first aid kit.

Definitely not a fire hazard

Beats living on a boat with a dozen family members.
Flooshing is doomed.

I like the Jamaica idea....nice hotels more space :)

It's a habitrail for people. Wonder if there's a height limit? You must be this short to sleep here...

Why do you think so many Chinese have immigrated to Flushing over the last 20 years? They couldn't have babies in China so they came here to reproduce and our taxes are paying for it!

these rentals would be fine if your name was frodo, bilbo or samwise.

Flushing is the new shire. Jamaica is Mordor.

Not to bad, easy to clean or spot bedbugs you get Wifi internet. Beats $250 -$350 a night just to sleep. I stayed in one of these 5 nights in Japan and pocketed my $350 (US) a night hotel per-diem money. However, I used the gigs private dressing room shower & bathroom. The problem I have with THIS ONE is: location, no locking door and alarm like in Japan.
Yeah and who's Beth, does she come with the rental ?

No hobbit would ever live like that, jq, certainly not those three successive owners of bag end you named. Jamaica as mordor? Maybe if they moved borough hall there. But the shire must be miles away from the city. Good one, though!

Big thing in Japan. I have stayed in these pods quite a few times when out there. Great if you are traveling by yourself and just need a place to sleep. Actually a lot more comfortable than a bunk on a ship.

$189 a week? That's a tenth of my rent. They've finally found a way to have affordable housing in Queens - just have 10 people to a room.

@Big thing in Japan

Of course Japan doesn't have enough land, makes sense!

Waiting for the time living on boats in Flushing Bay will be offered.
Just like back home!

Who cares?

Unless they're being forced in at gunpoint, it's not my business how people live

Opium berths with amenities.
Pass the pipe , please. I need a new outlook on Flooshing.
