Peter Vallone to become a judge

From the Observer:

Peter Vallone Jr., who served as Astoria’s city councilman for 12 years, was nominated for a civil court judgeship this morning, he confirmed to the Observer. Term-limited out of office in 2013, Mr. Vallone had taken a position with the Cuomo administration.

Mr. Vallone is now the Democratic nominee in a judgeship election that will be decided in November. Judicial races are rarely competitive and the Queens Democratic Party’s decision to nominate Mr. Vallone could be tantamount to him winning the election.

As a civil court judge, Mr. Vallone can serve a 10-year term and earn $159,000 annually.

It's civil court, not criminal.

Astoria can breath a sigh of relief. Our long nightmare under the heel of Vallonia is beginning to weaken.

Sounds Like a cushy job.

Doesn't he already have a cushy job under Cuomo right now????

Lancman's wife is also a judge.

It's a cushy job that pays well

Crowley: What the hell is that?

Vallone: Someone from UCCA goin' nuts cause they want to put a tennis bubble in Astoria Park.

I'll bet that fratelli Paulo is purple green with jealousy.
But Don Paulo is barely suited to be a councilman. How could county make him a judge after not even one term as councilman? It's up to the district voters to make sure that chitrool, Paulie Vallone doesn't even get a second term.

Following in the footsteps of grand pappy, Charles Vallone. He was made a judge in the early 1950s, I believe.

To: Never saw this coming. Al Centola called this a couple of years ago! Gotta keep your eye on the ball.

Son of Valone leaves son of Cuomo's administration to become judge and son of Weprin leaves City council to take son of Valone's job in son of Cuomo's administration. When will thes scammers get real jobs?

What it means is that he agreed not to run against DA Brown in the Dem. primary. Our next DA will be black or hispanic.

That pair of schmucks look like Young Frankenstein and the New Bruce Jenner

It looks like Pete there, what I like to infer, has been to the doctor.

Al Centola seems to be making a lot of news lately. His We Love Whitestone group has quickly become a juggernaut of a civic. Averaging 100 people per meeting. Not to mention their facebook page.

This guy is the guy to watch in Northeast Queens. I love his "all it takes is 100 votes" reminding the electeds that they can easily be replaced if they don't donthe right thing.

Go Al.

No wonder Robert J. H was shining up to the Vallone family. He also wants to become a judge.

Crowley: What the hell is that?

Vallone: A Community Board 1 meeting.

Vallone:

Crowley:
Huh?

Send Vito and Bruno
Make him an offer he can't refuse
But Don Baloney, you already own all the Politicians and you don't share them with us
Yes,its true, I do own all the Politicians but what's a Politician worth if I don't own the Judges and Courts!!!

Politians are the new mafia
Shouldn't vollone be covering his mouth when making deals so FBI lip readers can't see what he's saying?

Anonymous said...

Wanna see him drop out in a primary?

Anonymous said...

Can we organize a movement to vote for his opponent with the help of Queenscrap?

This is good news for Queens...a judge with integrity
