What does this have to do with the tweeding of Queens?

Look at this and think about what the City is going to be doing on Pelham Parkway.

Despicable.

This site has never been limited to the tweeding of Queens. That's the focus, not the only thing I write about.

Object lesson, Roger. If it can happen in the East Village, it can happen in Queens (if it hasn't happened a lot of times already). This shit has to stop.

This tree was not killed, it will start to grow back in the spring. Willow trees need to be cut back once in a while or they become too big and heavy, and a major gust of wind will rip it right out of the ground.
Sure it doesn't look so great now, but it is to the benefit of the tree in the long run.

This is a little beyond cutting back.

Agree, like rose bushes, the willow can take deep trimming and come back. Its a heavy tree with weak branches. In a major windstorm entire sections can break off.

Smart move.

Old Lady Stavisky still smells like a bucket of diarrhea on a humid August day.
