So did they actually paint the fence or did they just take a photo in front of the graffiti and then have an office hack make a lame attempt to Photoshop it out?
And how creepy is it for Lancman to have a blue rubber gloved hand on Brown's shoulder like he's about to examine his prostate?

If you already thought the folks at these local papers were shills and idiots, this confirms it.
Civic activist next to Gennaro looks like Mr. Cunningham from Happy Days!
That's the worst photoshopping I've ever seen. And I've perpetrated a lot.

I agree w/ Kevin Walsh. That is the saddest photoshop ever.
Using photoshop is kinda like flying an airplace. If you're going to do it, you have to be good at it, or else the outcome is likely to be a tragic disaster.
Graffiti "Cleanup Technician"!!! is that polspeak for painter?
The Queens weeklies don't even try. With a readership of clueless seniors and the gorgeous mosaic, they don't have to.
They still deliver the goods.

Sometimes newspapers photoshop out graffiti in order to prevent the scum who make this "art" form getting their work shown in the paper.
Just what does the Queens Times report on? Democratic politicians and their photos ops, Italian recipes, and legal ads. It's designed pretty nicely but not much substance. It's one of the strangest fish wrappers in a borough of weirdo papers: whore ads in the Tribune, murder/mahem in the Times Newsweekly, and Vicki Schnepps trying not to muss up her hair in jungle climes.
one paper no one mentioned got it right with a couple of actual photos:
