Too bad dogs can't read...

I just had to snap a photo of this sign on a day care center stoop on Fairview Avenue in Ridgewood.
I wonder if dog crapping or people peeing is ok here since the sign doesn't specify.

Heaven knows there's plenty of both of those to go around, too.

Personally, I'd be more concerned with graffiti vandals than dog piss if I owned this establishment.

It's pretty tough to keep a dog from peeing.

My dog can read...dogs are very intelligent creatures you know. I discussed the middle east crisis with my dog Bill last night.

Wow, thanks for reserving that spot for humans. I''ll come by and piss off a stream

And how does Bill think about the crisis, does he support the current unilateral support for Israel or does he think USA should do more than talk about their disappointments? And does Bill think we should have the public option.

Hey, I wish Bill was our mayor instead of that Queen Doucheberg.

Hey -- I'll stop my dog from peeing here if you get off your lazy ass and paint over the graffiti.

No more dogs in NYC!

Are there still all the illegal food vendors in the park at the end of Fairview? I think it's just a couple of blocks from the dog sign. Has that subject been covered on this blog?

Here's another possible Ridgewood subject: The slum-housing on the corner of Fairview and Woodbine. You know, that crap building where the owner HAS NOT shoveled snow once in the last five years or so. Or, as I call it, Dog-Poo corner.

My dog can read. In fact, we were just discussing the Obamacare situation last night. My dog is all for it as long as it covers vet care.
