From Sabine Heinlein...

The Sunnyside Sound Project focuses on the colorful shards, modules, spices and stitches of everyday life in Sunnyside, Queens. Each week I will add one resident profile, including sound, photography and writing.

I'm curious - will these "snipets" of "everyday life" in Sunnyside be inclusive of "everyday life" of 2nd and 3rd generation (etc.) Americans or is this going to be yet ANOTHER bunch of collective short stories highlighting the struggles of the "poor immigrant"?

are there any 2nd or 3rd generation Americans left in Sunnyside? just kidding, I know there are but a small minority. most people move out of the area as soon as they can afford it.

You could say that about the rest of the country, too.

Then they end up living next to some golf course in redneck country with a bunch of neighbors from Cleveland and jumping into the car for a 15 minute ride for some milk.
