THIS IS NOT A PARK, its 26 blocks, a street TEMPORARILY camouflaged as a park. They (the DOT and a cult like group) took our streets (26 blocks) during the pandemic when we (our community) was at its most vulnerable and never gave it back. The people in this neighborhood were not consulted and our community board did not approve this.The senior citizens and the disabled in our community can no longer get door to door service from access-a-ride because their street is blocked off. Emergency vehicles have to get out each block and move heavy barricades each block to reach their destination wasting precious minutes. Close to a hundred parking spots were taken away from us. This neighborhood is now under siege from a dictatorship that only has their own selfish reasons for commandeering our streets. Do not come here looking fo a park all you will find is a black tar street.
