Zillow agents proudly selling 1-family as a 3-family

Nice house.
Official classification? 1-family dwelling
Don't worry about that, you have at least 3 units here.
And here are the people willing to sell it to you.

Dumb folks don't even know that the house is in Bayside! (they say Corona...maybe they should look around...)

Also pretty sure that's not a brick house.

I'd like to believe they switched the listings, but...it's been on Zillow for 32 days and no one noticed?

They must have their license revoked. These illegal rentals are ruining our quality of life. Who holds these people accountable? Is someone going to report it to 311?

Top says Bayside 35th Ave, bottom says Corona off 108 Street. This one is a doozy.

1500 for an attic. that's pretty steep. Is there room for rooftop parties?

Corside is so hot right now.

Here ya go, you spoiled snots, the Flushingization of Bayside has come to your doorstep.
You were warned , thirty years ago to join up with the Flushing civics to fight overdevelopment, but you declined.
So shall ye sow. So shall ye reap!
Enjoy the fruits of your labours.

Zillow scrapes a lot of sites to aggregate their listings due to fear of missing out. They do so poorly. But it is not hard to find listings that say "legal 1 family used as 3 family".

I fully expect their councilman to hold a press conference to denounce this.

not

I fully expect his constituents will bombard him until he does so.

zillow has nothing to do with this listing. the agents don't work for zillow, they work for Prime Realty. Its also being sold in a reserve auction, sold as is. Minimum bid $699,000.
carry on.

So why doesn't the city require the real estate industry (agents, brokers, websites) list information accurately and provide background info as to whether the previous owner, investor took out the proper permits to convert a home.

Start regulating the real estate industry!

The name of the list agent says everything.

How can anyone advertise an illegally converted home is beyond me.
What's next?
Selling stolen items on eBay?

Due diligence is always, always on the buyer. If the city mandated this, the burden would be on the city - not even the seller - to establish its legal use, which is a fucking headache for anything that predates a certificate of occupancy. There's way too much liability there. The buyer is already supposed to convey what they know, but so long as they disclose in the contract of sale that it's a legal one-fam there's not much that can occur.

So sell your house for 3 mill and leave.
Bayside will become Flooshing in about three years.
Most Baysiders are still spoiled snots. You surely sound like one of those living in ...uh..."The Gables".
Where else can you find a three million dollar home in butt ugly Bayside?
With three mill, I'd be living in Scarsdale not boondocks Queens.
